About the Picture
There is something ancient and immobile about being grumpy. This is a painting for anyone who sinks into distaste for their
work. The hue of life shifts from vibrant red to blues and purples, and everything around one goes limp. When in a grump
lethargy rules; no arm is raised in interjection. Down-faced mouth and a hmmph is the best you can expect. Plant your thoughts
like a totem, an edifice alone at sea, an Easter Island head.
