About the Picture
In the game of love friendship is the hardest strategy. Like Pinocchio, we all have a propensity to lie, to exaggerate our
strengths, our beauty and desirability. The moves we make like those in chess, pin us to our opening gambits. How many boasts
found the blossoming couples embraces, only later to be uncovered as a wooden nose pointing towards an endgame? The blackbird's
problem is: how to stay one step ahead of the game; how to watch the horizon; how to make the most of the encounter?
