About the Picture

On the morning of January 3 1889, Nietzsche through his arms around a horse being whipped by its coachman. The event triggered his fall into a state of madness. In this picture, the quiet horse has fallen to its knees. Its stomach rendered; the insides now on the outside. No one was able to protect him. What philosophy could shout loud enough to prevent this quiet death?
